Phase 1B of Kaiāulu O Halele'a will increase affordable housing opportunities for families in Maui. In addition to the 64 apartments of Phase 1, Phase 1B will provide 56 units across 7 buildings. This phase will include 28 2-bedroom, 21 3-bedroom, and 7 4-bedroom apartments. Once completed, the complex will cover about 15 acres of land. Some of the on-site amenities will include a community playground, resident gardens, and an outdoor BBQ area. Additionally, the community plans to offer specialized social services to help support families needing assistance with job training or financial counseling. There will also be after-school programs for children. Kaiāulu O Halele'a Phase 1 and Phase 1B are conveniently located near schools, parks, and restaurants, making it a highly walkable community.
