Kahuina is a planned mixed-use development within the Our Kaka'ako community. Expected to be completed in 2026, the building will feature 859 units for sale or rent across 2 major buildings. Over half of the units for sale will be considered workforce-for-sale units, and there will also be opportunities to lease affordable rental units. The affordable units (whether for sale or for rent) will include between 1 and 3 bedrooms. To qualify for workforce-for-sale housing, the family must earn between 100 and 140 percent of the AMI. Affordable rental housing is reserved for families making between 30 and 100 percent of the AMI. Additionally, Kahuina will incorporate over 30,000 square feet of commercial retail space and is also conveniently located near SALT at Our Kaka'ako. Some anticipated amenities include a resident fitness center, a playground, a pool and spa, and a resident dog park. Ample parking spaces will also be provided.
