Kaiaulu O Kapiolani, expected to be completed by spring 2023, is a multi-family affordable housing complex. The community will cover just over 5 acres of land. This 64-unit complex is slotted to have 32 2-bedroom, 24 3-bedroom, and 8 4-bedroom units. Each of the 8 buildings will be 2 stories. The complex will incorporate solar-reflective roofing and additional energy-saving features, such as solar-powered water heaters and LED ENERGY STAR lighting. Unit amenities will include a refrigerator, garbage disposal, range, and dishwasher. Residents will be able to park on-site in one of the 117 parking stalls. Additional shared amenities will include a community center (with laundry facilities), a picnic area, and a playground for children.
