In total, the Kaloko Affordable Housing Project will include 99 units across almost 11 acres of land. These units will be reserved for families with households earning 30-60 percent of the AMI. The project will include 2 and 3-bedroom units across 7 buildings. By the end of the buildout, the community is anticipated to have 41 2-bedroom and 58 3-bedroom units, each about 750 square feet in size. Apartments will come with a range, an oven, a refrigerator, and solar water heating. Additional community amenities will include a community center (complete with a resident kitchen, laundry facilities, and meeting areas), on-site parking for residents, and outdoor play facilities. The community will also provide social services to help families in need of education and support with a special focus on financial literacy.
