Waikoloa Family

Waikoloa Family is currently in the works and will provide 110 rental units to lower-income working families in Hawaii. Located in Waikoloa Village, the community is expected to be completed by spring of 2023 and will offer a combination of townhomes and flats. A majority of the units (104) will be reserved for families earning 60 percent (or less) of the AMI. 6 of the units will be reserved for those earing 30 percent (or less). Approximate monthly rent fees are expected to be around $350 for 1-bedroom units and $800 for 2-bedroom units. Once completed, the complex will feature 8 2-story buildings (each hosting 4 units) and 10 2-story buildings (each hosting 8 units). Unit amenities will include many of the basic kitchen necessities, including a range/oven, a refrigerator/freezer combination, and a garbage disposal. Other highlights include an on-site laundry room and solar-powered hot water, which will help to save money on energy bills.
