Kaiāulu O Waikoloa will feature affordable plantation-style apartments. The community will cover about 4.6 acres of land and will host a total of 60 units across 8 buildings. Plans include about 28 2-bedroom, 25 3-bedroom, and 7 4-bedroom units. Each unit will come equipped with hard-surface flooring, ceiling fans, and solar hot water heating. Additionally, units will include ENERGY STAR appliances and LED lighting. The community will also incorporate on-site management and laundry facilities. Other shared amenities include a community center with a lanai dining space, a fenced-in children’s play area, a BBQ/picnic area, and resident gardens. Social service programs will be available for both children (i.e., after school programs) and adults.
